Yuliana was born in Chaipas, Mexico but her family since has had to move away to look for a work. She has been living in Cananea, Mexico for three years. Her father injured his back and can no longer do physical work, eliminating their main source of income. To make ends meet, Yuliana’s parents have started mining for turquoise and cleaning houses in their community. Their income barley covers the cost of food for their family, with almost nothing left over to cover school fees and supplies for Yuliana. Donate today and give Yuliana access to an education that will help her break the cycle of poverty.
Your donation will go to Instituto Tecnologico de Cananea, helping them give Yuliana and girls like her access to the education they deserve. With your help, we can provide Yuliana with a year of tuition, books and materials for class projects.
