Cruising for Critters
Help raise $2,500 to repair a vehicle that will be used for transporting and rescuing animals!
Right now SpokAnimal’s vehicle needs a new transmission in order for them to travel to high kill areas to save the lives of animals. SpokAnimal works with the ASPCA, Wings of Rescue, Columbia Humane Society, and many other organizations to pull adoptable animals from high kill areas and shelters. They travel up to 500 miles each week to pick up the animals in need of rescuing. Without transportation they are unable to drive to the destinations to pick up animals and this could potentially cost the life of an animal.
After successfully rescuing an animal it is taken back to their location to help find the animal a loving new home. SpokAnimal holds 7 monthly offsite adoption events in the community and a vehicle is a crucial necessity to transport the animals. Each time SpokAnimal and their team can drive away in a vehicle they are able to save more lives.
You can help. Just $10.00 helps pay for SpokAnimal’s vehicle to become repaired so they can get back on the road to rescuing animals.
